Spiritual Blessings

Happy Monday.  I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine went way too fast and I am not ready for this work day.   Here is today's Prayer.  Enjoy and have a blessed week.

Father, how gracious You are; how blessed I am ; how rich is my portion; how full is my cup!  You are the perfect Father-Loving, caring, providing, giving, sheltering-making a safe place, a restful place, a thriving place for my children and me to come to and abide in.  Thank You that the best place, the highest place, and the securest place for us to be is in Jesus Christ.
Bless my children with every spiritual blessing that You have made available through a relationship with Your Son.  May Your life be in them, may Your hand be on them, may Your favor be with them.  Work in them and through them.
Give them quiet hearts that trust in You; humble hearts that depend on You; grateful hearts that receive from You; joyful hearts that worship You; true hearts that honor You; giving heart that express You; pure hearts that glorify You; obedient hearts that please You.

Your Hand upon them

Good morning and Happy Monday.  I hope everyone had a great weekend, it was good for us but super busy as always.  Well I didn't get to post the prayers this weekend so today I will post # 3.  Hope you enjoy and have a blessed day!

Your Hand Upon them

Jesus, thank You that I have the wonderful privilege of bringing my children to You in prayer.  It means so much to know that each child means so much to You and that You listen to my prayers. Thank You that You do not push my children away from You or keep them at a distance.  I am so grateful that You welcome them with outstretched arms; that You embrace them with a full heart of compassion; that You receive them and dram then close to You.
Place Your hand upon my children's heads, I ask that You would bless them with the richest of blessings of Your hidden treasures.  Touch their lives, Jesus, warm their hears, fill their lives, make them whole, keep them strong.  Teach them Your ways and reveal to them the greatness of Your kingdom,  the meekness of Your spirit, and the beauty of your ways.  May they learn to come to You with every need they have and receive from You every provision that You alone can give.

God Bless

Blessing and Gratitude

Good Morning everyone.  Today is day 2 of the Prayers for your children, hope you enjoy.  Have a great day!

Heavenly Father, my prayer to You today is of thanksgiving, gratitude, and praise.  Thank You so much for Your favor and marvelous generosity to my family and me.  Every good and perfect gift truly comes directly from Your hand to us through Your giving heart of kindness and love.
I cannot begin to express to You how greatly blessed and grateful I am for the gift of my children.  I do, with all of my heart, receive each life that has come into our family as Your beautiful gift.  I cannot find words to thank You enough.
My children are a testimony of Your grace, a proclamation of Your wisdom, a revelation of Your workmanship, a demonstration of the creative work of Your hands.  Thank You that You have given them to me as your heritage-to know, to enjoy, to love, to care for, to celebrate, to delight in, and to raise so that they too may know You as the greatest heritage of all.

Prayers to pray over your Children

Good Morning, I hope everyone is having a great week so far.  I have had this on my heart for a while to share a daily Prayer for our Children.  I was at the local Christian book store this past weekend and stumbled upon the perfect book.  It is 60 Promises to Pray over your Children by Roy Lessin.  As I have gone through it the prayers are amazing and I just couldn't keep them to myself.  I hope you enjoy these and can use them in your daily life with your children. God Bless

Day 1
Lord, by Your grace, Your power, and Your love, you have lifted the clouds of doom from our household. Thank you for the promise that my children do not face a hopeless, worthless, or meaningless future.  You have assured me that my children have not been brought into this world for destruction, but for redemption; not for panic , but for peace; not for emptiness, but completeness; not for frustration, but for glorification of Your name.  Thank you for the promise that my children are "blessed by the Lord."
Because we belong to You, You have saved us from emptiness-from a life of empty words, empty promises, empty desires, empty thoughts, empty goals, empty work, and empty choices.  Thank You for freeing us, as a family, from empty relationships with each other.
Thank You, Father, for the blessings You have extended to my family.  My children will never face a moment in life when it is not true that they are blessed of the Lord.  I pray that regardless of their circumstances, You will help them to always recognise and understand how blessed they are.  And for all the blessings, I thank You.

I hope everyone enjoys this and will find them helpful in the everyday raising of your own children.

If you havent' been to Night Owl Crafting you should she has some fun link ups like this one.

1. Do you type on a keyboard the correct way or do you peck like a cute little chick?

I actually know how to type. I do need to peak every once in a while, but do pretty well for the most part.

2. Typically how long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

45 Minutes Wish It were less but Hey a girl has to look Purdy!
3. Do you prefer lip gloss or lipstick?

Lip Glass of course ( Gotta have the SHINE)

4. Do you take clothes to the dry cleaner or wash them yourself even if they say dry clean only?

Umm I don't own many things that are dry clean only.  But If I do stumble upon something that is dry clean I always take my chances and try it in the wash..:)
5. Do you prefer Wal Mart or Target.

TARGET for sure, but unfortunately I live in a small town and I only have a stinkin Walmart, of which I have boycotted many many times...
As I was looking around today I found a great Great idea over at  Myrepurposedlife.  I will definately be adding this to my never ending craft list.

Rough day

As I look around our community I see so many lives being destroyed by drugs.  It breaks my heart to see people that I went to school with who have lost everything because of the wrong choices.  Don't get me wrong we all make bad choices sometimes, but there comes a time when you need to step back and take a look at the situation.  Do something about it!
While talking to friends we found out that Kentucky is one of the worst states for drugs and wow that really hits home.  It makes me ponder on so many things.  The town we live in is a very small town but big enough for 2 high schools, 2 middle schools and 3 elementary schools.  So not too small but smaller than a lot.
So I think to myself, should I try to encourage my husband to move, or persuade him to let us home school, anything to protect my children.  He is completely against home schooling because of social issues and he thinks we would be sheltering them too much.  Would I be sheltering them or simply protecting them?
My children are small so we aren't experiencing the middle school, high school stuff yet, but this day and age they are starting a lot younger.  I hope and pray that what I teach them at home will stick with them, and when I am harsh, or firm in what I say that they know it is because I love them and I am only trying to protect them.
So I will continue to try and find rest in knowing that they are surrounded by God's grace and love.

Fall is in the Works

Fall is my absolute Favorite time of year. The smell, the leaves all over, all the beautiful colors, and most of all the weather. Being able to go with my family to the pumpkin patch and pick out pumpkins(love this). The nights outside with friends and of course carving the pumpkins, who doesn't love this. ha It's not too hot and not too cool, it's just right .. I love to look around at all the things, and think of how awesome it is to have a God that created it all. These things were made for us. Sometimes I think we all fall short, and do not give him the glory and praise for the things he has created. We take for granted what we have. So today I am giving Thanks to him for all I have, and of course FALL!
Hope everyone has a great day and God bless. Don't forget to just say Thank you
