Well this week has been one crazy week. I was so excited to have the hubby come home for his spring break and of course I get sick. Saturday it started with the stomach bug, then woke up Monday sore throat, Tuesday congestion, fever cough, UGH.. Thankfully I work at a Doctors office so I was right on getting meds to try and nip all this in the bud. Come to find out I had an ear infection and bronchitis. YUCK! Feeling better now and Praying that this weekend with the family is much better than the week has been.
On another note: I am so anxious to get the ball rolling in preparation for a weekly craft night. I have so many talented friends and family and can't wait to see what ideas they have in store. To look on here and see all the ideas the people have inspires me to want to venture out and try more things.
I hope everyone had a great week and enjoy our weekend. God Bless

Nurture our Daughters! (Children)
Recently I started attending a Life Group through our church on Wednesday Nights. we are reading and studying Nurture By Lisa Bevere. This book is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is a mother, sister or grandmother. It has helped me to realize that I was lacking or not even lacking but maybe not giving enough nurture to the ones around me.
Lisa Talks about how women are so hateful and rude and not willing to help other women these days. If you think about it; it's true and very sad. A lot of people dont realize that even just a smile could brighten someones day. You never know what they are going through or what they have been through, so that smile could just bring them back up to where they need to be.
In reading and studying this book, I feel that I have been able to make a better connection with my daughter, mother and sisters. I remember when I was little my mom was a stay at home mom, she always had a hot breakfast on the table when we got up and a snack when we got home. Times have changed and now most people dont even have time to sit down and have dinner. Is it really that they dont have time or is it that they are so worried about what needs to be done to worry about what "Really needs to be done"?
Our young daughters are suffering because of the lack of nurture that they are given.
~~Something to think about~~
Far too many women are disconnected and isolated. Othes want desperately to connevt but just dont know how to see this happen, It may be awkward at first, but it must start somewhere. The mothers need to watch for daughters and the daughters for mother, and when they recognize eachother they need to take the time to make a God-breathed connection-at whatever level or opportunity it presents itself..-Lisa Bevere

How much better!
I was sitting at work today and realized how much better things are in my life. A year ago I was just beginning to find my faith again and things were looking good. Since then my life has been so blessed with many things. I dont mean material things I just mean my outlook on things. I look outside and see things differently tahn before, the time I get with my family and friends I cherish that more than before. My marriage was on the rocks for years and for once it seems to be on the way to where I want it to be. I am so thankful for what God has done in my life and what he continues to do everyday.
Yesterday my mom had a hysterectomy, as I was getting out of the car there was a song that came on the radio called "Safe in His arms". It is so amazing that God just knows when you need to hear those words of encouragement. Everything went well with the surgery and she should be out of the hospital tomorrow.
Thank God for his love and mercy on my family.
I have so many friends that are going through rough times right now and I want to just pick them up and hug them so tight. I cant stand to see my friends hurt it kills me.... UGH!!!
Anyway on a different note. I have been looking through so many of the blogs and have found a bunch of ideas for things that I want to do around my house. You people are so talented.. I cant wait to try some of the things that I have seen. Have a blessed day~!
